Position Summary
The role is responsible to report quality measures as set by CMS for American Physician Partners providers.
There are three remote openings for this position. These openings are also temporary assignments, ending 2/1/2023.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

- 60%: Validate quality measures as documented in the electronic medical record for set MIPS as identified by CMS
- 20%: Ensure quality submission of all data in specified quality measure to maintain accurate threshold
- 20%: Prioritize, organize, and meet deadlines for multiple tasks as it relates to validation of quality measures
Preferred Knowledge, Education and Experience:
- Licensure/Certification as CPC, CCS, CCS-P, RHIA, or RHIT preferred or eligible
- 1-2 years of experience with abstraction of medical record
- Demonstrate knowledge of accessing electronic medical record
- Basic knowledge of diagnosis and related medical conditions
- Demonstrates high standards for accuracy and attention to detail
Skills Required:
- Job Knowledge: Understands the expectations of the position and consistently meets the objective of the role
- Demonstrated experience of communicating to leadership
- Understanding basic knowledge of an electronic medical record
Abilities Required:
- Productive: Ability to complete daily validation of quality measures
- Communication: Keeps team informed and promotes open communication
- Problem Solving/Decision Making: Uses sound judgement to gather and analyze information in accordance with American Physician Partners Policies
Physical Demands/Requirements:
- No travel. Must be able to work in remote atmosphere
- Work with local Coding Quality and CDI department location in Brentwood, TN
- Ability to work at a computer for 8+ hours.
