Position Summary

This position is remote. 

This role will support the Clinical Operations department by managing and creating provider information and documents related to MIPS, CMS, Covisnt, ACCME, ANCC, Patient Safety Organization. Responsible for data integrity related to maintaining and tracking ACCME, ANCC, PSO, MIPS, CMS, and Covisnt. Coordinates and assists with the management of initiatives and processes for the Clinical Center for Excellence.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists VP of Quality & Clinical Performance to include support with ACCME, ANCC, PSO, MIPS, CMS, and Covisnt
  • Actively works with VP of Quality & Clinical Performance to maintain and issue necessary documents for ACCME, ANCC, PSO, MIPS, CMS, and Covisnt
  • Coordinates with the Marketing Department and VP of Quality & Clinical Performance to create/ draft Support Center communications, including monthly newsletter and announcements as needed
  • Utilizes quality related programs (ACCME, ANCC, MIPS, CMS, Covisnt and others as identified) and provides support to include updating records, printing reports, etc.
  • Proofs and edits documents, presentations, and other collateral that are used by various clinical management teams
  • Supports the Clinical Center of Excellence and initiatives related to quality educations as guided by the VP of Quality & Clinical Performance  
  • Takes initiative to identify training opportunities and creates/ develops training materials as needed
  • Partners with the IT department to manage the Provider Portal, folders for CME content, workflow for ACCME, ANCC, PSO, MIPS, CMS, and Covisnt
  • Utilizes Learning Management System (LMS) to execute department objectives and serves as LMS department expert
  • Works in conjunction with multiple other departments as well as the Chair of Education, Chair of the PSO and VP Quality and Clinical Performance
  • Develops and maintains positive working relationships with other Support Center departments
  • Collects and analyzes data to identify trends and patterns to make recommendations for quality department training and/ or educational opportunities
  • Understands aspects of Quality Department initiatives, enhance and develop program by making continuous improvements
  • Follow established workflows, standard operating procedures, and corporate policies and procedures. Identify and make enhancements or recommendations as appropriate. Serve as company representative and Subject Matter Expert for Quality Payment Program administration and reporting
  • All other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Experience:

  • 3 years’ experience in related field with knowledge of medical terminology and acronym usage
  • Associate degree

Skills Required:

  • Basic computer and keyboarding skills required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access) and internet resources

  • Organize, prioritize work, and manage multiple priorities
  • Be proactive and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with providers, management, staff, and contacts outside the organization
