Grimes has more than 20 years of experience in healthcare accounting/nance. He is a growth-oriented leader, supporting more than $4B of acquisition and organic growth. He also has extensive external financial reporting experience, including 144A debt financing and SEC experience. He started his career in a senior audit role for Ernst & Young, LLP and has spent the last 18 years with Ardent Health Services, a Nashville-based owner/operator of hospitals and ancillary operations with $5B in net revenue. In his most recent role at Ardent as SVP nance, chief accounting officer, Grimes was responsible for internal/external financial reporting, corporate accounting, tax, government reimbursement, budget and capital planning, and revenue accounting/analysis.
